What’s this?
On this blog I’m gonna post about painting and modelling for tabletop games; hopefully some actual play reports about tabletop games, and generally wax lyrical. It’s probably gonna be really boring for you, but maybe you’ll come around. Dip your toe in. Who knows.
Who am I?
I’m Roo! I’m 23 and currently (although not for long) living in Scotland. I’ve been gaming for most of my life, thanks to my avid wargamer dad. Through the years I’ve dabbled in most stuff - from Games Workshop games, to indie RPGs to Magic: The Gathering. Right now I’ll try most things, though as a rule my preferred tabletop genres are fantasy (Goblins and Skeletons, please!) and the Second World War (10mm Russians and 28mm Finns, please!)
I’m also still very much into Magic; and I’m a sucker for anything with unusual dice or card based mechanics.
In my non-gaming time I work for British Telecom, at least until I pack it in to go chase the dream of becoming a penniless actor.
